About Baltic Baroque
Baltic Baroque is an early music ensemble dedicated to historically informed performances of Baroque repertoire. Founded by artistic director Grigori Maltizov, the ensemble brings together accomplished musicians specializing in period instruments and the musical traditions of the 17th and 18th centuries.
Particularly recognized for its interpretations of Antonio Vivaldi, Baltic Baroque has recorded an extensive collection of his violin sonatas, including rarely performed works and world-premiere recordings. Combining historical authenticity with expressive vitality, the ensemble brings the richness and elegance of Baroque music to contemporary audiences.
