Boladji Facia is a Beninese pianist, violinist, engineer, and PhD researcher in neuroscience.
In 2022, he released his debut piano album, Idawa ("Loneliness" in Yoruba), a deeply introspective work that engages in a dialogue with the classical and Romantic traditions of composers such as Chopin, Handel, and Mozart. The journey culminates in the album's original title track, where these influences converge into a distinctive personal voice.
With his 2026 release, Lettres d'Adieux ("Farewell Letters"), Boladji Facia fully emerges as a composer in his own right. The album explores the universal experiences of farewell, loss, acceptance, and healing with remarkable sensitivity and emotional depth, inviting listeners into a poignant and reflective musical journey.
